Great location opposite the train and only 5 to 10:min walk to most of the main sights and historic centre Warm helpful reception Lovely light room with two windows. Wide outlook. Windows opened for good ventilation. Electronic shutters. Good exterior sound isolation. Interior noise from ceiling annoying but quiet overnight. Comfortable bed and linens. Lighting good. Able to charge by bed. Wifi fine Excellent value for money. Note made that wall cladding and woodwork requires serious maintenance but price may then increase and it would not be such a good value for a very good room in other respects.

Excellent location for us to access nearby parking and restaurants, but also to visit historical sites. This hotel provides basic accommodation at a sensible price. The room was small but had every convenience eg air con, blinds, storage and good bathroom (good shower fluffy towels clean facilities. We were passing through on our way south and it provided just what we needed

Modernised place literally across the road from the garre and easy walk to everywhere in Nevers. Good sized room, shower over bath, electric window shutters. Secure bike storage. Decent 12€ breakfast.

Dropped off the bags at the hotel and went to find a parking space. After 6 o’clock parking is unrestricted but through the day one can use the ‘blue parking card’ and get 2 hours free. The hotel was on a main street opposite the station but was so quiet we overslept. Room had a bath which was very popular. We stayed an extra night.

Location, opposite railway station. Old but very well refurbished. Èxcelllent breakfast selection, including prumes! Close to many eateries. Quaint little elevator; pleasant view from 4th floor of railway, Christmas lights, etc. Helpful, friendly staff.

Convenient location (right in front of the train station, walking distance to the city’s main sights), comfortable room, simple but clean, neat, with essential commodities (and you can warm up your food with the microwave downstairs), gentle and helpful staff, heating good enough in cold season.

Room was good size; I hadn't expected it to be that big. Plenty of room for my bike bags. The reception, housekeeping and breakfast staff were terrific. Love interacting with the two girls at reception. I am bike touring through France (and 10 other countries for 4 months) and I was given the code to the parking garage and I parked my bike inside the garage, safe and secure. Breakfast was outstanding...nothing lacking! I didn't really find anything not to like about this hotel!

Perfect location just across the road from the railway station, a short walk to the historic town centre and Loire river. Clean, comfortable room, very quiet with good sound-proofing window. Very friendly helpful staff. Good basic hotel, excellent value for money.
